He is ours!!!!!!

He is beautiful and happy and wonderful and adores his big brother. Marshall is soaking up the adoration and grinning from ear to ear. Lily - not so much. :0 More than a tad jealous but that was expected. She is doing better now we are back at the hotel. Grandmas - you should be very proud of your grandkids - all three. This morning was quite an adventure in stress management and going with the flow. Our "guide" left us in the lobby because she had a test at shcool and couldn't wait around f0r our driver who showed up an hour late. He spoke no English and when we got to Bien Hoa, he did not know where he was going. At the orphanage, the foster parents were very loving and gracious. Val - the necklace you made me with Hung's picture, I wore it today and gave it to the foster mom. She was thrilled and became teary eyed. There was a cake but no one was offered any and no kids came to the "party." Eva - we saw and I held the triplets and gave them your gifts. They are beautiful, healthy boys. Hung is happy happy and was so excited to be on his first car ride. He was squealing and screaming with joy as the traffic whizzed by us. He LOVES his leapfrog hand held game and he was having a ball showing Marshall and Daddy what he can do with it already. We were told he was quiet and shy. So far, he is loving and happy and loud! Right up until 5 minutes from the hotel when he puked all over himself and his new backpack. Serves our driver right for showing up an hour late this morning! :) Hung has never been in an elevator or looked out a tall building window so he is quite fascinated. He apparently has never worn underwear either but was eager to try. Seeing his picture on my computer thrilled him. He is letting us hold him, swing him around and give him kisses. We know this is the "honeymoon" but we are joyous newlyweds!! Thank you to Stewart Killgallon and his family and the wonderful folks at Etch -A-Sketch who, in less than a week's notice, graciously delivered 24 of their fabulous products to our hotel to take to the orhanage for the kids who remain in care. We were not allowed to give our gifts directly to the kids but it is the quintessential American made toy and it was our pride and joy to be able to give them. They are indestructable, great for all ages, easy to clean - just the absolutely perfect thing for us to bring and unbelievably generous for you to arrange the donation, get them here and take care of customs. By the way - Hung loves his!! Jim took the kids to the roof top for a view and to get some snacks and a drink. We will have lunch, maybe go for a swim and then crash for a nap I know we all need. Life is good. Very, very good. Will post pictures later.
Went for the swm - he loved it. Very excited. Had lunch and dinner and he eats great. Loves fruit and whatever Daddy is eating. Wiemanns - thank you for the simple sign language. Jacob Spotts - your new friend has your joyous exuberance which is exactly what we prayed for. And so far, he is sharing with his new siblings. And punching all the buttons in the elevator and marveling at the cars from our 9th floor view.
P.S. - yes the cake was beautiful but no one was offered any. It sat on the table in front of us for an hour. We thought maybe it was styrofoam but the icing was melting in the heat. Next step - on to Hanoi to file for Hung's visa and passport.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!!!!!! Oh, I am so glad that things are going so well....I'm sorry Hunter got sick. It must have been Nathan's first ride with us too. He waited until the airport to share the carsickness. I have a friend who moved to the states when she was 8 and had never ridden in a car, and she got sick too. She affirms me that it does get better soon!

Congratulations! I can't wait to hear every detail and see pics!

Praise the Lord!!!!!!! Mary Li...the pictures are priceless!! Hunter looks like he's so excited & happy to be part of his forever family; HUGE good news!! Even if it is just the honeymoon phase, it's a start & a place that you can get back to, if needed.
We're praying for Lily! Adding a sibling is hard work...Micah will tell her that. : ) Glad, though, that Hunter is forming an attachment with Marshall.
Enjoy these moments, mommy of 3!!

Oh Mary Li! I am so, so happy for you! I am even happier for Hung! I didn't want to say it earlier, but his last few updates have had pictures of such a forlorn looking little guy--a boy looking lost.

Now, his smile says it all--he ONCE was lost, but now he's FOUND!!!! He KNOWS he is in his FOREVER FAMILY!!! Woo-hoo! Praise God!

HOORAY, HOORAY, HOORAY!!!! He is just so precious!!! Oh I'm so excited for you guys. He's just adorable and looks so happy. He was obviously well prepared to make the transition.

weird about the cake but then again we didn't have a cake (or going party)either. As they say, each province is different but the end result is what matters most; your sweet boy in your arms at last!!! Congratulations and enjoy your honeymoon :)
